Savannah Music Festival

March – April

The Savannah Music Festival is one of the most popular festivals in Savannah and has been bringing music lovers to our city ever since 1989! The 17-day festival is known for being Georgia’s largest musical event. A variety of genres is represented, so there’s something for everyone! You never know who will make an appearance, so check the lineup and start making plans to make your way to Savannah.

SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival

Every April, Savannah’s streets come alive! During the SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival, high school students and students and alumni of the Savannah College of Art and Design come together to create masterpieces with chalk. Forsyth Park becomes a canvas for the competition, and you are more than welcome to stroll through the park to see the variety of artwork displayed.

Tybee Island Beach Bum Parade

Head to Tybee Island for their annual parade! This family-friendly event is free to the public and has become a highlight of the year for both locals and visitors. The parade practically becomes a giant water fight, so make sure you bring a water gun of your own to fight back! You’ll also want to make sure you bring towels for the damp ride home.

SCAD Sand Arts Festival

You have never seen sand art like this! SCAD students, alumni, faculty, and staff compete against each other to sculpt masterpieces out of the sand on Tybee Island. There’s more than just sandcastles at the SCAD Sand Arts Festival; you never know what you’ll see as you walk through the incredible sculptures!

Fourth Of July

Spend the holiday in Savannah! There are tons of Savannah, GA, events that go on for the Fourth of July. Don your red, white, and blue and head to the annual bar crawl or opt to watch the fireworks over the Savannah Waterfront with your sweetheart. We love celebrating Independence Day in Savannah!

SCAD Savannah Film Festival

Savannah Harbor Festival of Lights

November – December

Bundle up and get ready for a true holiday event! The Savannah Harbor transforms into a stunning display of twinkling lights. You’re invited to drive through more than 80 displays, each created with colorful lights. There’s also a walking portion that you can sip hot chocolate and go on carnival rides during!

Savannah’s Holiday Tour Of Homes And Inns

Have you ever wondered what lies behind the closed doors of those beautiful, historic homes you walk by every day during your Savannah getaway? You can see it during Savannah’s Holiday Tour of Homes and Inns! These self-guided tours consist of venturing through different historic neighborhoods as you explore their homes and gardens.
