About Footprints of Savannah Walking Tours

Unfortunately, the history of slavery in Savannah is forgotten by some. Footprints of Savannah Walking Tours focuses on the institution of slavery in the city all the way up to the Civil War. You’ll be brought through the “forgotten footpaths” where slaves were once sold and told stories of individuals that have been passed down through generations.

Where Is the Tour?

Footprints of Savannah Walking Tours will take you through what was once Savannah’s City Market Square. For 200 years, this was the city’s center that countless slaves passed through. You’ll also tour the city’s Historic District from the Old County Courthouse to Bay Lane. Many of the buildings here are true to the 1850s and serve as a window into the past.

When Are Tours Offered?

Footprints of Savannah Walking Tours is open every day of the week! Each tour lasts for about an hour and a half and start at 10:00 a.m. each morning. If you would like to tour at a different time, you can always call and ask. Reservations are required for tours; all you have to do is call (912) 695-3872.

How Much Does a Tour Cost?

Footprints of Savannah Walking Tours has different rates for individuals and groups. The current rates are as follows:

Adults- $20 per person

Children under 12- $7 per person

Seniors over 65- $14 per person

Group rate- $17 per person with a deposit
