Arts on the Coast Spring Show

There will be an exhibit open to the public that features paintings, mixed media, and sculpture by local artists. An artists’ reception will be held on Saturday evening, May 4th.
SCAD Sand Art Festival
May 4- Tybee Island, North Beach
This annual competition features many types of art using sand, objects found on the beach, including shells and seaweed, as art. Categories include sand castle design, sand sculptures, sand relief and wind sculpture.

SeafoodFest on the River

May Festival in Calhoun Square
This annual celebration has taken place for 155 years, since the year the school opened in 1856-57. Students from various schools in the district will dance in the square. Wesley Monumental Church provides cookies and lemonade for the students
