  • If you enjoy opera and song, this is the festival for you. It will bring in more than 100 vocal artists over two weeks. A third of the events are free and open to the public. Festival season passes are also available.

  • T.I. is making his way to the Martin Luther King Jr. Arena with a few of his favorite performers.

  • The Color Run
  • Forsyth Park
  • Race the “craziest colorful 5k of your life” solo, or form a team of 4+ members. This is a one-of-a-kind event that is said to be less about speed and more about enjoying a color-crazy day with your friends and family.

  • Leopold’s Ice Cream 94th Birthday Block Party
  • 24 East Broughton Street
  • This block-wide Birthday party will celebrate 94 years of creating memories at Savannah’s beloved ice cream parlor. This is one for everyone. Enjoy live music, games and activities, dance demonstrations, free souvenir photos, and 94-cent singles (cup, cake, or sugar cone)!

  • Old Fort Jackson’s Annual Auction and Lowcountry Boil
  • 1 Fort Jackson Road
  • Don’t miss this annual Savannah family tradition! Tour Georgia’s oldest brick fort at sunset, with live music, good food and cannon firings. It’s Old Fort Jackson’s only annual public fundraiser.

  • Labor Day Celebration on the River
  • Rousakis Plaza
  • Start your Labor Day weekend the right way with a celebration on the river. Fireworks will kick off the festivities Friday at 9:30 p.m. The fun continues all weekend.

  • Savannah Craft Brew Fest
  • One International Drive
  • The countdown is on to the first toast at the 6th annual Savannah Craft Beer Fest. This event will showcase the growing love of craft beers inside the Savannah International Convention Center Exhibit Hall and outdoors over the esplanade overlooking the Savannah River and downtown Savannah.   • Midnight Garden Ride
  • This annual nighttime bike ride ends with a live, outdoor concert in Telfair Square. New West Records Recording Artist, Ponderosa, will headline this year’s party at 9 p.m. There are discounts for early birds, so register now!
